Ukrainian, Russia Jews Respond to Anti-Semitism in Crimea Crisis | New Republic

Now I understand why The Lord Came to me and Asked me to put the word out about praying for people in the Crimean Peninsula and in the Ukraine.  It has to do with the history of anti-Semitism there over the course of history.  The Lord Told me there is a potential of a bloodbath there.  Crimea has a large population of Jewish people.  Tomorrow night begins Purim which extends through Sunday evening.  Sunday is the day that the Crimeans will vote to be annexed to Russia or remain a part of the Ukraine.

Purim, is the Feast celebrating the saving of the Jewish peoples from arch-enemy Haman, the Amalekite in the Book of Esther.

Russia has been lining up troops along the eastern border of the Ukraine, and also between the Crimean peninusula and the rest of the Ukraine.  This is about more than the Crimean.

Anti-Semitic attacks are already occurring: http://www.jewishpress.com/news/breaking-news/ukraine-hatzalah-chief-stabbed-in-antisemitic-attack/2014/03/14/

Please pray!  Sunday’s vote, which happens about 9-10 hours earlier than EST or CST, will decide the life or death of many people.  Please check one of my earlier posts for prayer points.
